How to Get Plastic Forager

It is pretty clear the more time you put into Forager that some items are more scarce than others.

While plenty of materials can be found strewn throughout the world or by digging, plastic is one of the items that require a bit of a different process.

One of the first things you’ll want to do is create an Offshore Drill. When placed by the water, this structure helps to created bottled oil – an item that is essential for making plastic.

In order to build the Offshore Drill, you’ll need Steel (5+1) and Brick (15+3).

To do anything with the oil, a Factory must be built. Factories require Glass (9+1), Royal Steel (3+1), and Brick (12+3).

Factories turn the bottles you get from offshore drilling into plastic. Creating multiple factories and multiple drills will obviously allow for more plastic.

Upgrade the Shovel

Just because you have some more of this scarce resource doesn’t mean you’re done though. Use the plastic that you get from the factories in order to fully upgrade the shovel.

Upgrading the shovel spawns rare items while digging, including plastic. This means you’ll be way more likely to find the item when digging.

Combining the new shovel with scrolls, shrines, and luck potions is a sure-fire way to find hundreds of the material when equipped together.

That is all the information you need to know about how to find plastic in Forager. If you’re in need of any other helpful tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to search Forager.
