Skipping Completed Puzzles
If you’ve already completed the game once and have played through all of its main puzzles, you’ll be glad to know that you can skip them anytime you want.
When in a puzzle stage, just press the Options button, then choose the Skip option to bypass the puzzle completely. Again, do note that this only works on puzzles that you’ve already beaten once. If it’s a completely new stage that you haven’t cleared, you’ll need to beat it first to unlock the ability to skip it on subsequent playthroughs.
Playing on Safety Difficulty
However, if you’re really just not a puzzles person and you don’t want to deal with that whole aspect of the game, there’s another way around it.
You can change your difficulty setting to Safety, and this allows you to skip puzzles in the game, even the ones that you haven’t cleared yet. Again, press the Options button to bring up the menu, then select the Skip option.
Being able to skip puzzles is particularly useful for repeated playthroughs, especially for players who just want to experiment to see which other endings they can unlock in Catherine Full Body. It’s also great for players who are just here for the story.
