Yellow Toad

The first thing you’ll need to know about the Buried Stones level is that it requires Yellow Toad to unlock. All you need to do is progress through the story and wake him up with a POW block in the story mode.

After waking him up, Yellow Toad offers players a handful of different jobs, all varying by difficulty. Buried Stones is one of those jobs, sitting at a One Star difficulty level.

While this may be a simple One Star level, there is a trick to it. In order to finish this level, you’ll need Yoshi to eat a specific block. Once you do, it will all you to traverse over a high jump at the end.

Hidden Block

This hidden block can be found near the start of the level. It should be relatively easy to spot, as it stands out near the left end of the fourth row with a blueish tint.

Since it is buried, you’ll have to progress to the portion of the map where a green tube is dropping Yoshi eggs. Crack open one of the eggs and ride back to the area with the block.

Jump and have Yoshi eat it. After this, you’ll just need to progress to the end of the level. Once there, spit the block out onto the music pads and use its momentum to overcome the high obstacle.
