Rotating Capsules in Dr Mario Word

Starting off Dr Mario World, you’ll find that the gameplay is relatively intuitive. Like the original game, the goal is to simply use capsules to get rid of viruses on the screen.

The catch is that you’ll need to match up specific capsules with correlating viruses, indicated by colors. Alongside that, the orientation of the medicine also changes how effective each use will be.

Using the right color capsules might get you in the door, but making sure that it is horizontal instead of vertical might be the difference between one star and three stars, especially considering the total number if capsules provided is limited. Thankfully, you’ll find early on that the idea behind it all is pretty straightforward.

On the first level, you’ll be placed in a tutorial. Dr Mario World goes through the premise and lets you know the objective. As you progress through the tutorial, you’ll eventually take the reigns.

When you do, the game gives you the ability to control the pill’s orientation and location. If you want to change the rotation of the capsule, simply tap on it.

Tapping on the pill rotates it 90 degrees each time, allowing you to change the rotation before placing it. Dr Mario can also rotate the capsules once they’ve been released as well, so don’t worry if you mess up the direction you want it at the start.

That’s everything you need to know about how to rotate capsules in Dr Mario World. Now that you know the proper way to rotate your pills, Mario’s patients will be better in no time.
