Sony’s successful VR Title, Blood & Truth, is bracing itself for a big update, coming tomorrow, that is set to add a lot more free content to the game.
The incoming update is set to add a New Game Plus mode that will allow players to start their adventure again, but allowing them to keep any collectibles, weapons, mods, and skins they obtained first time round. This will make it easier to complete challenges throughout the campaign, and hitting those elusive hidden targets less of a challenge in each chapter.
In addition to this, the inclusion of online leaderboards will let the whole world show how competent your James Bond skills truly are as you can work hard to get the best scores. Each mission currently records the user’s stats like enemies hit, completion time, and accuracy. So you’ll now have an incentive to be the very best.
The final major addition to the game is the latest set of bonus challenges for you to complete. The original challenges have proven very popular among the community, leading SIE London Studio to add five additional challenges. These include: pulverizing targets with a pump-action shotgun and even dual-wielding sub-machine guns.
This continues SIE London’s vision of supporting the game with, “more free DLC lined up for Blood & Truth in the coming months, including additional challenges!”
