Is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Coming to Nintendo Switch? Answered

Fully revealed at EA Play 2019 with a long look at some gameplay, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order isn’t too far away from release. It’s arriving in November, but you may be wondering what platforms you’ll be able to play it on once that time comes. Well, here’s everything you need to know about whether Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to Nintendo Switch.

Will Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Get a Nintendo Switch Release?

As of the time of writing, Respawn’s single-player focused Star Wars adventure is only due to come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Nothing has been said that points to a planned Switch release, and one is rather unlikely to happen.

It’s a very cinematic, character-focused game that’ll introduce fans of the franchise to an original story and new locations, so it relies on the power of current-gen consoles and PC.

The Witcher 3’s Switch reveal proves that pretty much any game can be altered in such a way that it could work on Nintendo’s hybrid console, but Fallen Order seems to rely really heavily on its presentation to tell its compelling story.

It won’t have multiplayer options, staying away from the Battlefront series’ territory, so spectacle and compelling character moments are what will entice players.

Of course, that doesn’t mean it’ll never make its way to the Switch. EA has some of its other games on the system, so never say never. If we ever hear anything or a port is revealed, we’ll be sure to keep you updated here. I wouldn’t hold your breath for it though.

That’s everything you need to know about whether Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to Nintendo Switch. For more tips and tricks on the game once it releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
