What Restricted Books Are

When playing Niantic’s newest AR title, you’ll eventually come to a point within leveling up where skills can only be increased through learning knowledge that is held in the Restricted Books. This skill tree node stopping point is signified by text that lets you know that more reading is required.

Depending on your profession, this will either come sooner or later. For example, Aurors and Magizoologists have far less restriction when it comes to their skill trees in comparison to the Professor class.

The skills hidden behind the Restricted Books are always going to be the most powerful for each class, providing considerable incentive to find and read these books.

Brilliant Events

Now that you know a bit more about why you should get them, it is time to learn how to get them. Simply put, Restricted Books can be acquired by completing Brilliant Events.

Brilliant Events occur randomly for a short period of time in Harry Potter Wizards Unite, tasking players to collect Brilliant Foundables on a special Registry page in order to unlock extra experience points, treasure chests, and exclusive rewards specific to that event. Restricted Section Books are one of those rewards.

You’ll need to get more than one to move up your skill tree though. To be exact, Aurors and Magizoologists require 115 each, while Professors must earn 223 books.

Now that you’ve done your reading, you’ll be Headmaster of Hogwarts in no time at all. That is everything you need to know about how to get Restricted Books in Harry Potter Wizards Unite.
