British studio, Ninja Theory, has a pretty impressive development history, having created Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, DmC: Devil May Cry, and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. Their new game was revealed during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference, but you may be wondering if Bleeding Edge is going to be making its way to PS4 once it releases. Here’s your answer.
Is Bleeding Edge Coming to PS4? Answered
Ninja Theory’s previous games have come to PlayStation platforms, but Bleeding Edge will not unless there is a surprising and sudden change in plans.
Microsoft acquired the studio last year, announcing the deal during last year’s E3 showcase, but none of the games that were already released could be made exclusive.
However, now that new games have been announced, the titles can be exclusive to the Xbox One (being on PC too) and that will be the case with Bleeding Edge.
You will be able to purchase it on Microsoft’s console once it comes out, and you will be able to play it for no additional cost if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.
Therefore, since Ninja Theory is part of the Xbox Game Studios family, and therefore their games will be exclusive to the Xbox One, it’s not going to come to PS4.
Of course, if there are ever any changes with Ninja Theory’s deal with Microsoft some time in the future, which could allow Bleeding Edge to come to PS4, we’ll be sure to let you know here. Don’t hold your breath for that to happen though.
