Where the Combat Shotgun Location Is in Rage 2

Easily one of the best early-game weapons for almost all situations, the Combat Shotgun is definitely one of the first weapons you should try to get as soon as you have access to the open world.

At the start of the game, you’ll have three main story mission markers to follow, and you’ll want to go to the one in Gunbarrel, where you’ll meet Marshall.

This mission is pretty straightforward, as all you have to do is follow the mission markers and you’ll eventually find an Ark beneath Gunbarrel, which is where the Combat Shotgun location is. Interact with it, and you’ll get the Combat Shotgun, along with a short tutorial that teaches you how to use it effectively.

How to Use It

The Combat Shotgun is very useful for stripping away armor from enemies, making them more susceptible to bullets. You’ll usually need just one or two shotgun blasts to strip away their armor, then one more shot should kill them instantly.

When firing from the hip, the pellets are fired in a spread, allowing you to hit multiple enemies at once. This is great for crowd control, and might even kill weaker enemies.

When aiming down the sights, the pellets are focused into a single slug, which gives it great stopping and knockback power. This is ideal for bosses or when facing regular enemies in close quarters.

It’s got good range as well, so we definitely recommend making use of it whenever you can.

That’s all you need to know about where the Combat Shotgun location is in Rage 2. Be sure to check our Rage 2 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
