Developed by Avalanche Studios and id Software, Rage 2 is the latest post-apocalyptic first-person shooter game released for consoles and PC this week. Players will take control of a Ranger named Walker as you try to take down the Authority. Here’s a list of all the missions in Rage 2, and how long the game is.
All Missions in Rage 2 and How Long It Is
Unlike most modern open world games out on the market these days, Rage 2 isn’t a 100-hour affair. There are a total of eight main missions, as listed below:
- The Ranger
- Wasteland Celebrity
- Ground Control
- Double Cross
- The Signal
- Beneath the Surface
- Project Dagger
However, even though there are only a handful of main story missions, it’s worth noting that some of these missions are quite lengthy with multiple objectives to fulfill. Not to mention the fact that there are tons of other side activities to get into as well.
For instance, there are Arks to open, along with a ton of enemy outposts to clear, and unknown locations to discover in the wasteland.
From our time with the game, if you choose to just make a beeline for the ending in Rage 2 and only focus on the main story missions, you’ll likely be able to beat the game in about 12 hours or so. However, if you decide to take the time to explore the wasteland and do all the optional stuff, your playtime can get extended to around 20 hours, and maybe even more if you’re trying to 100% the game.
All in all, Rage 2 isn’t a terribly long game, so you should be able to knock it out within a week or so.
That’s all you need to know about all the missions in Rage 2, as well as how long it takes to beat. Be sure to check our Rage 2 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
