The console will be available for a limited time to celebrate the Days of Play event, which will happen in June. No precise release date was provided during the livestream.

It will come with a 1 TB hard drive, and the package will also include a controller in matching colors.

It certainly looks rather sleek, and it’ll be interesting to see if it’ll provide a spike to PS4 sales, which Sony has shared are now beyond their peak as we race towards the console’s successor.

In order to showcase the console, we also got a new trailer, which you can enjoy below.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
