The Bigger Game – South Park: Stick of Truth
In May we got some amazing free games for PS Plus subscribers, including the narrative driven What Remains of Edith Finch and a great game to play with friends, Overcooked.
While we wait for the official PS Plus list to be revealed by Sony for the upcoming month of June 2019, we predict South Park: The Stick of Truth from Ubisoft will be included as free for subscribers.
At this point, Ubisoft is pretty used to having its games offered on Sony’s free games subscription. Past inclusions are:
- Far Cry 2 in February 2012.
- Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry in August 2017.
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier in June 2018.
- Beyond Good & Evil HD in November 2018.
- For Honor in February 2019, and more.
At the moment, there is a Ubisoft publishers sale offering The Stick of Truth at 40% off with an additional 10% if you have PS Plus.
If we’re lucky, Sony might even just gift us the South Park: The Video Game Collection Bundle which is also on sale at 50% off with an additional 10% for PS Plus members. The bundle also comes with the sequel South Park: The Fractured but Whole.
The South Park games are one of the last of Ubisoft’s series to have yet to make it to PS Plus, and seeing as Stick of Truth released back in 2014, it seems like the most likely out of the two entries.
