How to Change Appearance in Dauntless

At the start of the game, you’ll be given the opportunity to customize your character by selecting a gender, then choosing their hairstyle and facial features. However, if you change your mind about some of the customization options, you can still make changes later on.

Once you’re in the game proper, look for the mirror in the town square in Ramsgate. Go to the mirror, interact with it, and you’ll be able to customize your character and change their appearance to whatever you’d prefer.

The nice thing about character customization in Dauntless is that you can even change your character’s gender, and basically recreate them from scratch all over again.

You’re not just limited to hairstyles and colors, so you don’t have to worry too much about being locked into your character’s appearance at the start of the game.

Changing appearance doesn’t seem to cost anything either, so you can do this as many times as you’d like.

Character Armor and Weapons

Of course, changing your character’s appearance isn’t strictly limited to just changing their hair, gender, and facial features either. If you obtain new weapons or armor sets, these can also be equipped to customize the way your character looks.

Armor can be crafted in the town, but do note that you’ll need monster and Behemoth parts to do this. The best way to get monster parts in Dauntless is, of course, to hunt Behemoths and do patrols whenever you can.

Patrols will also reward you with Orbs, a resource that’s also required for weapon and armor upgrades, along with crafting.

That’s all you need to know about how to change appearance in Dauntless. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Dauntless guide wiki, or check out some of our most popular guides down below.
