How to Skip Cutscenes in A Plague Tale Innocence
As great as the cutscenes are in A Plague Tale: Innocence, you may find yourself needing to know how to skip cutscenes at one point or another.
Whether it’s because you’re returning to a level to grab missed collectibles or simply to get back to the gameplay, skipping cutscenes can keep you on track and focused on the game without interruptions.
That’s why it’s good that the feature is easy to use. All you need to do is hold down the circle button on PlayStation 4 or the B button on Xbox One while a cutscene is in progress.
Doing so will make a gauge appear on the screen. Once it fills up, you’ll be taken to the start of the next gameplay segment that would have triggered after the cutscene finished.
Should You Skip Cutscenes?
It may be worth mentioning, though, that at one point or another you should watch all of the cutscenes to see A Plague Tale: Innocence as it was intended to be played.
Telling the tale of a pair of siblings trying to survive during a war and plague-ravaged France, the story takes plenty of twists and turns you wouldn’t expect from it at first glance.
Of course, there’s also the fact that you won’t have a clue what’s happening in the game unless you watch the cutscenes. This includes why you embark on the final few missions in the main story, and why the characters act the way they do at the end.
