You’ll find plenty of other Tetris games to play on iOS and Android devices, but there’s one version of Tetris that is solely exclusive for the Nintendo Switch and that version is Tetris 99 (the best version).

In Tetris 99, you face off against 98 other players in an intense and exhilarating match of Tetris where there can only be one winner. Your main focus, like any Tetris game, is to line up the blocks to score points, but Tetris 99 adds a deeper level of strategy by allowing you to send off gray-colored trash blocks to other players.

You can choose to send them to attackers, randoms, and to the people who are very close to losing.

Getting to that coveted first place spot is no easy feat, but this Battle Royale edition of Tetris would make for a perfect experience on mobile devices, especially considering how barebones the game actually is. There’s only one game mode, but if you have a few minutes to spare, Tetris 99 would be perfect for those commutes and while you’re waiting at the DMV or something.
