How to Build a Bakery & Upgrade it in Idle Supermarket Tycoon

Recommended Videos

If you’ve ever thought you could run a supermarket like no manager that’s come before you, but don’t really want to make it your life mission, you can always try your hand at it in Idle Supermarket Tycoon. It’s considerably easier, but hey, it is a game, and at least you don’t have to deal with angry customers! Here’s how to build a bakery in Idle Supermarket Tycoon.

First things first, before you can do anything in the game, you’ll need to get through the tutorial. During this, you’ll upgrade your Produce Dept., cash registers, and the car park, too. Just after that, though, you’ll then have free reign over your supermarket, and that’s where you can begin to build a bakery.

To do this, all you need to do is simply tap on the little office in the corner. It’s just behind your first cash register in the tutorial store if you’re still trying to find your feet and are unsure what it looks like.

Once you’ve given this a tap, you’ll then be shown the screen down below. As you can see, you’ll need $10,000 in order to build a bakery, and that’s the cheapest of all of the additional buildings you can purchase for your supermarket. As long as you’ve got the cash, simply tap on the ‘Build’ button, and you’ll begin construction.

How to Upgrade the Bakery

To upgrade the bakery, you’ll need to do the exact same thing you’ve done in the tutorial for your Produce Dept. Simply tap on the bakery itself and you’ll then be given the option to upgrade it. Again, as long as you’ve got the cash for the upgrades, you can keep tapping and continuing to do so until you’re happy.

That’s everything you need to know about how to nab yourself a swanky bakery in Idle Supermarket Tycoon and have the fresh smell of bread floating down your aisles. For more guides, news and features on everything video games, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
