As the final season kicks off, Game of Thrones is right back into the spotlight. Those looking for a video game fix based on the franchise don’t have a great deal of choice, but the mobile game Conquest just about does the trick. Here’s how to change your banner in Game of Thrones Conquest.

Conquest multiplayer strategy game in which you lead your own house, gather resources and units, forge alliances with other players, and deal with threats along the way. But you’ll want to give your house its own unique flavor, and what better way than with a custom banner?

You’ll have the opportunity to create your own custom banner right at the start of Conquest, but if you’ve decided it’s time for a change then don’t worry.

Changing the banner from default is super easy. All you simply need to tap on the banner icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

Being a free-to-play mobile game, you probably won’t be surprised to learn that changing your banner requires you to use a special item. It’s aptly called a Banner Change Item, and you don’t have an infinite supply. They cost 150 gold coins after the first one (free).

Once you’ve used that free Banner Change Item, you’ll need to drop gold to purchase another.

Now, you can earn gold without getting out your wallet. Here are a few tips to earn more gold:

  • Always get your daily login bonus of gold: You’ll always receive a small amount of gold for logging in each day.
  • Join an allegiance: Join an allegiance as soon as you start the game. It doesn’t matter which. Any allegiance you join will reward you with 200 gold.
  • Research Gold Prospecting: In the Master’s Tower, there’s a specific research project under the Economy tab that helps you with gold. This research is called “Gold Prospecting”.
