How to Get the Ruin Skin In Fortnite & What It Looks Like
Each and every season in Fortnite, Epic offers up a special skin that’s kept a secret up until it’s about to drop. Just last week, the Fortnite Twitter account teased that ‘Ruin is coming,’ and we now know there’s a skin coming that goes by the same name. Here’s how to get the Ruin skin in Fortnite and what it looks like.
What the Ruin Skin Looks Like
Before you concern yourself with how to get this special Season 8 skin, you’re probably wondering what the thing even looks like. Well, just this past week it was finally revealed in-game what this long-anticipated skin looks like.
This first look comes courtesy of Reddit user SpartanG28, and comes straight out of the game. The skin is of Legendary rarity and part of the Ruination set. Its description reads: “All will fall.” Sounds pretty ominous if you ask us.
If you’re wanting to get an idea of what the back and sides of the skin look like, Reddit user YahaJ has shared this 360-degree view of Fortnite’s Ruin skin down below.
We’re pretty big fans of the skin, and it definitely looks like there’s something sinister or evil about to go down in Fortnite’s world. Exactly what, though, remains unclear.
How to Get Ruin in Fortnite
To get the Ruin skin, all you need to do is complete 55 of the weekly challenges. This is part of the Discovery set of challenges, which you can check your progress of in-game by heading to the ‘Challenges’ tab.
These 55 completed challenges can be made up from all of the weekly sets from the entire season, meaning you could miss one or two from each week and still be able to get it before the season ends and it’s gone forever.
Though, keep in mind if you don’t clear a full set of weekly challenges, you won’t be able to get the secret stars or banners.
That’s pretty much all you need to know on how to get Ruin in Fortnite and what it looks like. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Fortnite Season 8 guide wiki.
