How to Do Takedowns in One Piece World Seeker

One Piece World Seeker is unlike any other game the series has ever seen, giving players a massive open world to run around in as they use Luffy’s Gum Gum powers to explore and take down enemies. Considering it’s an open world game one of these options is stealth, so here’s how to do takedowns in One Piece World Seeker.

You’ll be going up against a ton of enemies in One Piece World Seeker, and while Luffy isn’t a slouch when it comes to combat, you might want to thin out their numbers. Of course, it also just might be easier to not be spotted at all and be on your merry way.

Takedowns work as your stealth knockouts in One Piece World Seeker, and they can be done by sneaking up behind an enemy while undetected and pressing square (X).

Initially, takedowns can only be used while in Observation Haki mode, activated by holding down L1 (LB) and then pressing R1 (RB). The good news, however, is that you can unlock a skill on the Armament Haki tree allows you to do takedown while in that mode as well.

How to Make Takedowns More Effective & Easier to Pull Off

Additionally, if you’re finding it difficult to sneak up on enemies you can do something about that. By purchasing the Aura skill on the Parameter tree you’ll decrease enemy detection, making it even easier to sneak up and do takedowns.

If you’re looking to emphasize stealth in One Piece World Seeker, you’ll definitely want to invest in both of the above skills.

Hopefully, that tells you everything you need to know about how to do takedowns in One Piece World Seeker. For even more tips, tricks, and guides make sure to search Twinfinite, and take a look at our One Piece World Seeker guide wiki.
