Esswein is one of the classic OP FIFA cards, ever since his card in 2012 that was low rated but strong and fast. You don’t see a lot of him now, but he’s returned for FUT Birthday. However, for what is an average card at this point in the game, he’s a little expensive. Here are the Flashback Esswein requirements.

For both sections of the Flashback Esswein SBC, I would recommend avoiding the Bundesliga because that’s what everyone else will be doing. Since you only need 80 chemistry for both squads, any FIFA 19 league will suffice, really.
You can approach both of them in the same way too, opting for the Premier League or La Liga, maybe using a German player from the Premier League (Gundogan or Leno) if you opt for that league.
The most challenging part of the Flashback Esswein SBC is the in-forms needed. As always, the best thing to do is stick with TOTW players from the current FIFA 19 team since they’ll stay cheaper by being actively packed.
Needing 80 chemistry is higher than other recent SBCs, but you should be able to slip in the two in-forms and Stuttgart player in wherever you want, without the needing links to the rest of the squad.
Since there aren’t many high rated Stuttgart players, you will need to counter that elsewhere with high rated players in the Die Roten section of the Flashback Esswein SBC.
