How to Get Money (E-Credits) Fast & Easy in The Division 2

Recommended Videos

We all need money right? Whether it’s real life, or in game, there’s rarely a scenario where more money actually equals mo’ problems. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering how to get money (E-credits) as fast and as easy as possible in The Division 2 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Here’s our suggestions for the best way to farm credits.

Farming E-Credits in Division 2 Fast

The best way we have found in this early phase of The Division 2’s lifespan to get E-Credits (not the purchasable microtransactions) is to sell trinkets, which are random items you can get from looting boxes and bags in the open world or during missions.

More viable options may appear later on as The Division 2 grows and expands, but that’s the best way for right now.

You can mass sell trinkets at vendors by pressing L3 when talking to them. This will dramatically speed up the process and help you get back to what you were doing.

Really, the only other way to earn credits is by selling unwanted gear. However, you’ll need them more for crafting materials. Crafting materials are very useful, and at least until you have fat stacks of them, you probably should use your unwanted gear for that, rather than credits.

What Can You Buy?

Once you have a nice nest egg of E-Credits in Division 2 to lord over, you might be wondering what to do with it. The Division 2 is a looting game, so naturally a lot of the best stuff is obtained through RNG and killing stuff in the world. Rarely can you get by on just credits.

E-Credits can be used though to buy level appropriate weapons and armor from vendors if you need an upgrade in a pinch. More commonly though, they are used as part of the crafting process at the base of operations. You’ll need to pay a small fee whenever you want to craft something, so you’ll always need some.

That does it for how to get E-credits fast in The Division 2. For more tips, tricks, and frequently asked questions answered, be sure to check out our wiki guide.
