How to Get and Complete The Best Offense Triumph and Get Oxygen SR3 in Destiny 2
This week, Bungie has finally kickstarted the Season of the Drifter in Destiny 2. With new Gambit modes and maps to check out, along with new Pinnacle weapons to add to your collection, there’s a ton of stuff to do. Here’s how to get and complete the Best Offense Triumph in Destiny 2 and get the Oxygen SR3 Pinnacle Weapon.
Getting The Best Offense Triumph
First things first, The Best Offense is a Triumph that’s related to Vanguard Strikes, so naturally you’re going to have to talk to Zavala to pick it up. Head to the Tower, then go to Zavala’s usual position at the edge of the platform to talk to him.
Get the Redeployment quest step from him, which will task you with completing the Best Offense Triumph.
Requirements for Completing the Triumph & Getting the Oxygen SR3 in Destiny 2
Unlike The Stuff of Myth and Notorious Hustle, The Best Offense is a PvE-focused Triumph in Destiny 2. The requirements for getting Oxygen SR3 are as follows:
“In any Strike activity, land precision final blows, generate Orbs of Light, and complete activities. Nightfall strikes grant the most efficient progress.”
While Nightfalls will likely be the best way for you to complete The Best Offense Triumph quickly, you can simply farm the Heroic Strikes playlist instead. The most important thing here is actually generating Orbs and getting your precision final blows.
In order to get a precision final blow in Destiny 2 and get the Oxygen SR3, you need to kill an enemy by striking them in the weak point. For Vex, this usually means the glowing white light on their bodies, and for Cabal, this usually means the orange vents on their back.
You’ll know you’ve landed a precision hit when the hit marker shows up as yellow, and if you kill an enemy in a Strike with a precision hit, this will count towards your progress for The Best Offense.
On the other hand, generating Orbs of Light should be fairly simple. The best way to do so is simply by using your super ability when it’s charge up, and kill as many enemies as possible.
Upon completing the Best Offense Triumph, you’ll be rewarded with the Oxygen SR3 Pinnacle weapon.
