How to Play With Friends in Battlefield V Firestorm

Recommended Videos

The anticipated battle royale mode for Battlefield V is finally here. Firestorm blends the quintessential Battlefield experience with gaming’s hottest new trend, which means you can now duke it out across air, land, and sea in a last-man-standing combat survival match. You can choose to play both in solos or four-player squads. Here’s how to play with friends in Battlefield V Firestorm.

Firestorm’s squads work in teams of four similarly to other battle royale games. Each squad has a Squad Leader, who is essentially the person who has created the team and invited other players to join.

It’s important to note that once you’re done playing a match, it is the Squad Leader that keeps the team together. By exiting, the Squad Leader sends a message to other members asking them to exit as well. Doing so will mean you all remain in the same team and don’t have to create another one to join and play with friends.

How to Invite Friends

Whether you’re starting a squad or joining one with your buddies, you’ll want to head to the game’s social screen. From the main menu, click the friend icon in the bottom right-hand corner to bring up your friend list and access the social screen.

From here, press the + icon on the right of a friend’s profile to either join their game or invite them to the squad you have created.

To play with friends on console, you need to press the right trigger to reach the friends menu, at which point you’ll see your friends list. You then need to click on the name of the player you want to join your game, then press triangle/Y to make the squad.

And that’s essentially it. Obviously, you’ll need to make sure that the friends you want to play with or invite into your squad are actually on your friend list to begin with. So make sure that’s sorted by adding them first.

That should be all you need to know about how to play with friends in Battlefield V Firestorm. For more useful guides on the game, be sure to search Twinfinite.
