Games with Gold Predictions For March 2019

Along with online support for multiplayer games, players who have Xbox Live Gold for their Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are gifted a few free games through Games with Gold every month. Usually a couple bigger, more AAA-ish games make the list and for March 2019 we believe it is likely we will see Gears of War 4 from The Coalition.

It’s honestly surprising Gears of War 4 hasn’t been offered on Games with Gold yet. Almost the entire rest of the series has been on Games with Gold at one time or another, including:

  • Gears of War in December 2013
  • Gears of War 2 in February 2016
  • Gears of War 3 in July 2015
  • Gears of War: Judgement in April 2015

Offering an Xbox One exclusive is also usually a safe bet, and Gears of War 4 released back in 2016 so it has been long enough for Microsoft to possibly consider adding it.

Another possible inclusion is Crackdown 2 from developed by Ruffian Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

The first Crackdown was offered for free on Games with Gold in August 2013, and usually a couple 360 titles make the free games list every month and this one would be a good fit both for how long is has been out and the type of game genre Microsoft seems to aim for.

Check out the next page where we consider a possible indie inclusion for March 2019’s Games with Gold list as well.
