Deltarune Chapter 1 Coming to Switch and PS4; Undertale Now on Sale in the eShop

Deltarune, undertale

Nintendo has announced that they will be bringing Toby Fox’s Deltarune Chapter 1 to the Nintendo Switch on Feb 28 as a free download. Chapter 1 of Deltarune is the follow up to the popular indie game, Undertale, which released for PC back in 2015.

Once Nintendo shared the news with us during their Direct presentation, Toby Fox –the creator of these two games– went to Twitter to share with the masses that he plans on bringing Deltarune to the PS4 as well.

Also, in celebration of Chapter 1 coming to the Switch as a free download, Undertale is now 33% off on the Switch eShop until Feb 27, one day before the launch of Deltarune.

Toby Fox will be releasing more episodes of Deltarune in the future, but they will indeed come at a price. He hasn’t announced when the rest of the game would be coming, but if you haven’t yet played Undertale, then be sure to complete it before jumping into Deltarune, as Toby Fox says that it is not intended for people who have yet to complete the story of Undertale.

You can check out Deltarune on PC right now or you can wait for the Switch release on Feb 28. We don’t know exactly when the PS4 port will be launching, but we will update you if anything gets announced.
