How to Play the Waiter Minigame
You won’t actually have access to the waiter minigame until quite a ways into Tales of Vesperia, near the third story arc actually. Just play through the story normally until you have access to the airship. At this point, you can head back to Dahngrest and go to the tavern all the way at the left end of the city, named “Sagittarius.”
Talk to the owners behind the bar and you’ll be given the option to play the waiter minigame, which will earn you a tidy sum of Gald as well as the chance to earn title costumes for quite a few characters. There are five characters that can play the minigame, and they scale in terms of difficulty. Here’s how it pans out.

How to Beat the Waiter Minigame in Tales of Vesperia
The minigame tasks you with taking the orders of the tavern’s customers, going back to the bar and selecting the right order, then taking it back to the customer. Now there’s good news and bad news. The good news is that you don’t have any time limit while playing the game. The bad news is this minigame can be incredibly tedious and time-consuming.
In order to get the waiter/waitress title costume for each character, you’ll need to pass their version of the minigame. This means getting at least half of the customer’s orders right.
Straight up the best way to do this minigame is to get a pen and paper, or open a document on your computer, and write down each and every order. The orders are randomized, so, unfortunately, we can’t just list off the answers for you.
Ideally, since there’s no time limit, you should take one order at a time and knock it out, then move onto the next. If you’re feeling ambitious you can write down multiple orders and a description of the guest that ordered it.
The game can get exceptionally challenging with very complex orders and a ton of customers. If you find yourself getting frustrated or bored don’t be afraid to just pause the minigame and walk away for a bit.
Just stick with it, and eventually, you’ll knock out everyone’s version of the game and get all those sweet costumes.
