How to Get the Decorated Sword in Onimusha Warlords Remastered
There are a number of well-hidden items you need to track down to solve puzzles in Onimusha Warlords Remastered, one of which is the Decorated Sword. Here’s how to get the Decorated Sword in Onimusha Warlords Remastered.
After completing a segment of the game where they take the role of Kaede, Onimusha: Warlords Remastered players will be tasked with finding a way to unseal the gate to the demon realm.
The first step to doing this will be to find the Decorated Sword, a ceremonial weapon used to unlock a stone door in the South Area’s main courtyard.
To find the Decorated Sword in Onimusha Warlords Remastered, backtrack through the area you explored as Kaede and using the Oni Gauntlet to unlock the doors sealed by a third level fire orb seal. The door can be found just past the area with barricades and a balcony covered in archers.
The door can only be opened after upgrading the fire orb to the highest rank in Onimusha Warlords Remastered, so if you haven’t done so already, grind through some enemies to get enough orbs to do so.
Once you’ve unlocked the door, continue through and down the path toward an area with barricade carts and a group of enemies at the bottom of the hill. Kill all of the enemies, and then continue through a door at the bottom of the hill.
This will take you into an area with several large ax-wielding demons, one of which is a unique variant that won’t go down easily. Wait for them all to approach you and then use your fire magic attack to dispatch them all as quickly as possible.
This should leave only the unique variant demon alive. Keep your distance, and after he completes his two-hit combos, dive in for an attack or two from your fire sword. After a few hits, he should go down as well.
Once he does, examine the golden glowing handle stuck in the ground near a chest. This will give you the Decorated Sword, which can then be taken back to the South Area to unlock the stone door.
