Is Mario Kart Tour Coming to Nintendo Switch?

Hot off the heels of Nintendo’s other successful mobile ventures like Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Super Mario Run, and Fire Emblem Heroes, the company announced that a Mario Kart game of some sort would be coming to mobile devices sometime before the end of the company’s fiscal year, which runs until March of 2019.

As such many fans are probably wondering if Mario Kart Tour is coming to Nintendo Switch.

We really haven’t heard much about Mario Kart Tour following its announcement in early 2018, but we do know that the game will be using a “free-to-start” model similar to Super Mario Run, which allowed users to play the first few levels for free, but then if you wanted to, had the opportunity to purchase the rest of the game for one set price of $9.99.

Also, as of right now, Mario Kart Tour doesn’t seem likely to be coming to other consoles or systems besides mobile devices. And if it’s anything like Nintendo’s other mobile games, Mario Kart Tour will definitely not be coming to the Nintendo Switch anytime soon.

With the company’s fiscal year coming to a close soon enough, we hope to hear more about this mobile game in the next few weeks or even just a surprise release during a Nintendo Direct or something like that.
