Here’s Where All of the Far Cry 5 Perk Magazines Are
Far Cry 5 is filled with plenty of collectibles and some of them, like magazines, give you a perk point each time you find one. Here are all of the perk magazine locations in Far Cry 5.
Because there are so many perk magazine locations, we’re going to break down where to find them based on the region of the map they’re in. There are three regions on the map in Far Cry 5: Holland Valley, Whitetail Mountains and Henbane River.
We’ll break them down in that order not only because it’s the easiest, but it’s the region order we recommend following during your playthrough.
Before doing that, though, here’s a map of Far Cry 5 that we marked with every single perk magazine location.
Holland Valley
In the Holland Valley region of Far Cry 5, there are 25 magazines for you to collect, which will grant you a total of 25 perk points.
Magazine 1:
Go to Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm. Then, head west until you’re south of Langford Lake. There, you should spot a small lake with a camp set up nearby.
Go to that camp area and look for some barrels. Next to those barrels is a magazine.
Magazine 2:
After picking up the first one, look for a small hill southeast of you. It should be very close nearby.
Once there, look for another campsite. On the table is a magazine.
Magazine 3:
Go back to Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm. Head southeast until you’re just north of Fall’s End. There, you’ll find a cave which is housing the third magazine located next to a chest that you should loot.
Magazine 4:
Southwest of Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm and Northwest of where you currently are, head north and count all of the lefts your path takes. Skip the first two lefts and take the third one.
You will eventually reach a caravan of sorts. Walk towards it, but instead of actually going to it, look for a wooden hut on your right.
Break into it and go down the bunker. Straight ahead, in the bathroom, is a magazine.
Magazine 5:
Northeast of Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm and just southwest of Window Creek, there is a bridge. Head towards it but don’t cross it.
Just before you actually reach the bridge, there should be a wooden hut. Break into it and within is a magazine.
Magazine 6:
Go back to Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm. At the front of it, go straight and then right toward some piles of pumpkins.
Keep going until you see a wooden fence. You should eventually spot a bunker and within it is a magazine for you to pick up.
Magazine 7:
Along the river, just outside of Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm, to the southeast is two train wagons. Only one is on the tracks and you need to climb on top of that one.
From there, jump to the other train wagon which is housing a magazine within.
Magazine 8:
Head south from magazine 7 until you spot another train wagon. Inside of it is a magazine.
Magazine 9:
Head west from magazine 8 until you come across a wooden house. Behind the house is some wood blocking an entrance to a basement of sorts.
Break that wood blocking your way and head inside to find a magazine.
Magazine 10:
Southwest of Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm is a hill. At the bottom of the hill, there is a house with a hut behind it.
Head inside the hut to find an entrance to a bunker. Head inside this bunker and within is a magazine.
Magazine 11:
After collecting magazine 10, head southeast until you come across a hut. Outside of the hut is a dead body and a person crying about the dead body.
Inside this hut is a magazine.
Magazine 12:
Head to Redler Creek and then go north long a path. Eventually, on your right side, you’ll come across a white house.
Get to the roof of this house and find the chimney. Near here is a key you need to find. After that, use the zipline attached to this house to zip down to another house.
Use the key to unlock this door’s house and head inside to find a magazine.
Magazine 13:
At Redler Creek, head east and take the first left you come across. You will reach a lake with a sewage pipe.
Head into this pipe to find a magazine.
Magazine 14:
After collecting magazine 13, head Southeast until you spot a white house. Go to the back of this house to find a hut and an entrance to a bunker.
Inside the bunker is a magazine.
Magazine 15:
Head east after collecting magazine 14 until you’re just west of Dead Man’s River. Here, you’ll find a wooden hut with barrels on the side of it.
Inside of this hut is a bunker and within that bunker, near the toilet, is a magazine.
Magazine 16:
From magazine 15, head southeast and then west until you’re near a mountain. Nearby is a house with some words written on it.
Head to the backside of this house where you’ll spot a hut. Head inside, down the bunker and on a shelf within is a magazine.
Magazine 17:
Go to Orville Creek and then head North. Southeast of Dead Man’s River, you’ll find a house with the word “sinner” written on it accompanied by the New Eden symbol.
Continue forward past that house where you’ll find a bunker. Inside the bunker, on the shelf near the toilet is a magazine.
Magazine 18:
West of Orville Creek, there is a house with a star on it that resembles the American flag. Behind the house is a bench and sitting on it is a magazine.
Magazine 19:
South of Redler Creek and east of Fall’s End is a small creek with a sewage pipe. Head inside this sewage pipe and take the first left to find a magazine on a shelf.
Magazine 20:
East of Rye & Sons Aviation is a large corn tower with the word “gluttony” written on it. Climb the ladder on the side of it and head inside when you can.
Once inside, climb to the highest floor and next to a crossbow is a magazine.
Magazine 21:
Go to the Lamb of God church and then head southeast until you’re west of Rye & Sons Aviation. You should spot a windmill. On the upper platform attached to it sits a magazine.
Magazine 22:
Just a tad northwest of Rye & Sons Aviation is a gray barn house. Climb your way into the barn and find the Bradbury Key sitting on top of a small refrigerator.
Take this key and leave the barn. Look for a building nearby that has “Hope County Coop Local Partner” written on a sign attached to the building.
Go inside this building using this key and open the first door on your left. Inside is a magazine.
Magazine 23:
Northeast of the Lamb of God church, there is a road on the right to a red barn with an American flag on the side of it. Climb up to this barn’s roof.
Once on top of the roof, find the water tank and jump on top of it. Then, jump from the water tank to the bottom of the barn where you should spot a magazine on a table.
Magazine 24:
North of the Lamb of God church is an RV next to a garage. Climb on top of this RV to find a magazine.
Magazine 25:
The final perk magazine in the Holland Valley region of Far Cry 5 is west of the Lamb of God church. Follow the nearby road to the very end of it where you should see an abandoned car.
On the right of the abandoned car is a black pickup truck. In this truck’s bed is the last magazine you’re looking for in this region.
Whitetail Mountain
The second region we recommend completing is the Whitetail Mountain region. It has 20 magazines for you to find meaning that you can get up to an additional 20 perk points here.
Magazine 1:
To the north of this region is Cedar Lake. Head to the west side of this lake and look for a tent. Inside the tent is a magazine.
Magazine 2:
West of Cedar Lake is a bunker. Inside the bunker is a magazine.
Magazine 3:
Right before reaching the bunker that you found the second magazine in is a large tent. On a shelf inside this tent is a magazine.
Magazine 4:
On the island in Cedar Lake is a wooden house. Inside this house on a shelf is a magazine.
Magazine 5:
Southwest of Cedar Lake, on top of a the mountain that you should see, behind a sign is a magazine.
Magazine 6:
East of Cedar Lake, on top of a hill, is an entrance to a cave. Inside the cave, you should spot two people dancing.
Look for a rake in a corner and on top of that rake is a magazine.
Magazine 7:
North of Wishbone Lake is a bridge. Below this bridge is a sewer pipe and inside of it, at the very end, is a magazine.
Magazine 8:
Go to the Baron Lumber Mill and then head north. Then, head east of the F.A.N.G. Center located on top of a hill.
Once there, look for a chair and under it is a magazine.
Magazine 10:
Southeast from the Baron Lumber Mill at Loresca Residence, outside the door, is a magazine.
Magazine 11:
Southeast of the F.A.N.G. Center along the Moccasin River is a tree house made of lumber. Climb up its ladder and search inside to find a magazine.
Magazine 12:
West of the F.A.N.G. Center and across from the Moccasin River is a wooden bridge. On this bridge is a magazine.
Magazine 13:
West of the Moccasin River and a tad southwest of Cedar Lake is a watch tower. Grapple up to it and inside is a magazine.
Magazine 14:
West of Moccasin River is a small lake that surrounds a small island. On this island is a bench with a magazine sitting on it.
Magazine 15:
Head east from magazine 14 around the valley until you reach a bunker. Inside this bunker is a sofa and sitting on the sofa is a magazine.
Magazine 16:
Southwest of Cedar Lake to the very far left reaches of the map is a camp with wooden piles laying about. On one of those piles is a magazine.
Magazine 17:
Just southeast from magazine 16 is a cliff. Grapple down and climb up the nearby watch tower to find a magazine inside.
Magazine 18:
North of Clagett Bay is a base camp with a watch tower. Climb the ladder on this tower to find a magazine up top.
Magazine 19:
Northwest of Widow Creek and southwest of Clagett Bay, there is a small road. Follow this road to the end where you’ll find a bunker.
Inside this bunker, take a left at the dead body and then a right through the door. You should find a magazine on a bed.
Magazine 20:
The final magazine located in the Whitetail Mountain region of Far Cry 5 is located northwest of Langford Lake. Look for some dirt roads that lead to a house with a car and some furniture outside.
Near the furniture is a pile of books and near those books is the final magazine to find in this region.
Henbane River
The third and final region of Far Cry 5 is not only one of the largest, but also features the most collectibles. With 32 magazines to find, it might take a while before you 100 percent this region, but once you do, you’ll have gained an additional 32 perk points.
Magazine 1:
On the northwestern side of Drubman Marina, there is a radio tower. On top of it is a magazine.
Magazine 2:
East of the first magazine is a small cave. Inside of this cave, near the animal skeleton, is a magazine.
Magazine 3:
To the west of Drubman Marina is a lake with a small island inside of it. On that island is a tent and inside that tent is a magazine.
Magazine 4:
Go to Peaches Taxidermy and follow the road outside of it until you reach a small bridge. Don’t go on this bridge, but instead, head down to the river and look for a waterfall.
Below this waterfall is a crashed car with a magazine in the back of it.
Magazine 5:
To the very east of Peaches Taxidermy is a mountain. Walk toward it and up it until you spot a cave.
At the entrance of this cave is a magazine.
Magazine 6:
Follow the river south of Peaches Taxidermy until you can see Rock Bass Lake. Just before that lake is a smaller one on the side of the road.
Nearby is a cave and inside the cave, near two dead bodies, is a magazine.
Magazine 7:
Near Moonflower Trailer Park is a field. In this field is a wooden shack and inside of this shack, on a bed, is a magazine.
Magazine 8:
Go to the island to the right of Rock Bass Lake. Find the small cave here and inside is a magazine.
Magazine 9:
To the Far East of Rock Bass Lake is a plane crash. In the rubble of this plane crash is a magazine.
Magazine 10:
South of the ninth magazine is a river. Follow this river until you reach a green house. Inside this green house area is a bunker and inside the bunker, on a bed, is a magazine.
Magazine 11:
To the Far East of the Moon Tower Trailer Park is a valley. Walk through it and climb to the high side to find a house.
On the right side of this house is a chair and a table. A magazine is on the table.
Magazine 12:
After magazine 11, go back into the valley and head toward the bridge that crosses the nearby river. On the right side of this bridge, is a house.
Go inside the house and look for some crates. On the ground near these crates is a magazine.
Magazine 13:
Continue across the bridge and onto the road. Ahead, you should spot a tunnel with a bus to the left of it.
Behind the driver seat of this bus is a magazine.
Magazine 14:
To the far east of the Hope County Jail is a house with an American Flag hanging from it. To the left of the dog house outside this house is a cabin with a bunker entrance inside.
Head into the bunker and near the bathroom sink is a magazine.
Magazine 15:
Go to Dead Man’s River and look for a nearby cemetery. Inside the cemetery, there is a grave with wood covering it.
Break this wood and inside is a magazine.
Magazine 16:
On the northeast side of Dead Man’s River is a tunnel. Inside this tunnel, there is a dead body on the right next to a mattress and on this mattress is a magazine.
Magazine 17:
Fast travel to the Jones Residence near the Sacred Skies Lake. Once here, look for a wooden house with New Eden symbols on it.
Collect the Jones key inside on the wooden cabinet near one of the home’s windows. Use this key to enter the cabin to the left of the Jones Residence.
Go inside this cabin and look for the bunker entrance. Head down inside this bunker and on your right, in the kitchen area, is a magazine.
Magazine 18:
West of the Hope County Jail is a river. Follow this river until you reach a curve.
At this curve, there should be a house nearby. Go inside this house, turn left and go to the very last room.
Inside this room is a cabinet with a magazine on top of it.
Magazine 19:
From magazine 18, take a left on the road until you reach a large house with an American flag hanging outside it. Go inside and look to the right side of the table to find a magazine.
Magazine 20:
Northwest of the Hope County Jail is a tunnel. To the left of this tunnel is a container and on the left side of this container, behind some crates, is a magazine.
Magazine 21:
West of the Moonflower Trailer Park is a church on top of a hill. Go inside this church and look for a fallen cross.
Find the key next to this cross and use it to unlock the locked cabin to the right of the church. Inside this cabin is a wooden shelf with a magazine on it.
Magazine 22:
After finding magazine 21, cross the street and walk forward until you find a wooden house. Inside this house, on the fireplace, is a magazine.
Magazine 23:
In between Angel’s Peak and the Moonflower Trailer Park is a cave under a bridge. Inside this cave is a magazine.
Magazine 24:
Head outside the cave where magazine 23 is. Go back to the bridge and then go under it.
On the right is a tent near one of the bridge’s pillars. Inside the tent is a magazine.
Magazine 25:
From magazine 24, look for a radio tower. To the right of the tower is a biplane that will take you to a platform on a tree and on this platform is a magazine.
Magazine 26:
In between the Moonflower Trailer Park and Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm, there is a fork in the road. Near this fork is a wooden cabin concealed by forest trees.
Go to the backside of this cabin to find another wooden cabin. This smaller cabin has a breakable floor.
Break the floor and drop down to find a magazine.
Magazine 27:
Follow the river that is south of Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm and cross a bridge. After crossing this bridge, there will be a curve in the road.
At this curve are four houses. The farthest house has a magazine sitting on a bed inside.
Magazine 28:
Southwest of Peaches Taxidermy is a Bliss flower farm. In the house on this farm is a table.
Behind this table is a metal stand with a magazine on it.
Magazine 29:
North of Angle’s Peak is a lake with a cave opposite of it. Inside this cave, on a dead body, is a magazine.
Magazine 30:
East of Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm is a bridge. Cross the bridge and head towards the second bridge in sight.
On the left of this second bridge is a wooden house. To the right of this house is a bunker and inside the bunker, near some storage boxes, is a magazine.
Magazine 31:
Northeast of Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm, across the bridge, is a house with an American flag hanging from it. Go inside this house and left of the entrance is a table with a magazine on top.
Magazine 32:
The final magazine of the Henbane River region of Far Cry 5 is located on an island left of the house you found magazine 31 in. Head towards it until you reach an area that has clearly burned down.
Climb the ladder on the structure in the center of this burned area. Once up top, jump to the right onto a nearby platform.
On top of this platform is the final magazine you need to collect in Far Cry 5.
