Red Dead Redemption 2

best ps4 games, q4 2018

There has been a lot of discussion among fans about the gameplay values of Red Dead Redemption 2, but it’s doubtless that it delivers storytelling with few rivals topped by awesome characters.

Rockstar once again demonstrated that a niche genre like western can be insanely successful in video games if handled with the required care, budgets, and time.

Certainly a representative of its genre, there is so much to do in Red Dead Redemption 2 that open-world fans will get lost while contemplating the vastness of the wild west.

It’s basically a giant package enriched further by the longevity of Red Dead Online, which will most probably keep many players engaged for years to come like Grand Theft Auto Online.

Yet, perhaps the most impressive thing is that Rockstar managed to create a game that iterates on their winning formula without feeling like Grand Theft Auto Wild West.

It received our highest honor for 2018, and it’s certainly worth the time and effort playing through it’s incredible story campaign even if Red Dead Online still needs some more polishing.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
