New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (Jan. 11)

If JRPGs aren’t your thing, and you missed out on the Wii U when it originally launched, Nintendo is also releasing an updated port of New Super Mario Bros. U for the Switch.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe includes both New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U, so there’s plenty of content to dig into here. This is a platforming game with simple and intuitive controls, making it one of the more accessible entries to get into. It’s great as a single-player game, but it also features multiplayer support where you can clear levels together with a friend while trying to save the Mushroom Kingdom once again.

There are over 100 levels to tackle here, and there are also additional game modes to check out if you’re looking for some variety.
