Pokemon Switch

We just recently got a Pokemon game on the Switch in the form of Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, but these twin titles are remakes of Pokemon Yellow with some neat mechanics thrown in from Pokemon GO and some quality of life changes that made the trek through the Kanto much much more enjoyable.

It was a great taste of what it would be like to play a Pokemon game on Switch, but in 2019 we’ll be getting an official true mainline game in the series, with a new region, a new generation of Pokemon to catch, and hopefully, an improved graphical style.

Seeing a new region in the world of Pokemon in glorious HD will be a sight to see for long-time fans of the RPG phenomenon.

If the art style of Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee was any indication as to how the next mainline game will look, then we can look forward to a pretty freakin’ good looking game, probably the best looking Pokemon game to grace our presence.

This being the 8th generation of the long-running monster catching series, we can expect veterans and Poke-newbies alike to jump on board just like folks did with Pokemon Let’s Go. And let’s face it, it’s Pokemon so you know very well that it will sell a ton of copies, like a lot.

The new Pokemon title is slated for release sometime in 2019.
