How to Get Winterdrift Engrams in Destiny 2’s Dawning 2018 Event
Destiny 2’s 2018 Dawning event is finally here and players can jump in on the winter festivities as soon as Bungie’s servers let them. If you’re here you’re probably wondering how to get Winterdrift Engrams so you can start collecting the new vanity items. Here’s how to get them.
Winterdrift Engrams are special Dawning-exclusive engram that will drop as of the update which is now live, until the event ends on Jan 1.
There are a couple of different ways that you can get Winterdrift Engrams while The Dawning event is live.
- The easiest and best way to get Winterdrift Engrams simply play the game and level up. Even at max level, every XP bar fill up you get past 50 will grant you an engram while the event is live.
- Obviously, you can also purchase them via Silver, Destiny 2’s in-game premium currency. This is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but it is technically a way to get Winterdrift Engrams.
What do the engrams contain, might you be asking yourself right now? Well, for starters, it contains the very sleek looking Dawning exclusive armor set. If you don’t like the armor, but you like the shaders, you could also get the Resilient Laurel and Aniline Shock shaders which will leave your armor looking very frosty.
Because this is Destiny 2, there is, of course, exclusive ships and ghost shells including Glad Tidings, and the Hard-Packed Shell which will make your Ghost look like a snowball.
Overall the cosmetics are really sweet this year, and if you can get your hands on enough Winterdrift Engrams, you should walk away pretty satisfied with your haul.
