Supercell’s Brawl Stars has finally released worldwide and it looks set to quickly become one of the developer’s most popular games. If you’ve just jumped into the game and are wondering how to get more brawlers in Brawl Stars, here’s what you need to know.

There are a couple of different ways to get more Brawlers in Brawl Stars. We’ve outlined them quickly for you down below in a bullet point list, but for more details on each, we’ve provided a full breakdown further down this page.

  • Earn more trophies to reach milestone rewards that include more Brawlers.
  • Purchase them with tokens via Brawl Boxes.

How to Get Trophies for More Brawlers in Brawl Stars

With respect to Trophies, the way it works is that if you’re on the winning team or you survive long enough playing Showdown, you’ll be rewarded with Trophies. However, you can also lose Trophies if your team loses or you are defeated early playing Showdown.

Trophies are awarded or taken away in Brawl Stars depending on the results of a match. Each of your Brawlers has its own individual Trophy count, and this determines the Brawler’s Rank.

If your Brawler has a high Rank, you lose more Trophies when you lose and gain fewer Trophies when you win. Each time a Brawler Ranks up, 10 tokens are awarded.

Upon reaching certain Trophy milestones you’ll be rewarded with various perks, which includes more Brawlers. This is a bit of a grind, though, but fear not, as there’s a quicker way to give yourself a chance of getting more characters in Brawl Stars, as long as you don’t mind a bit of RNG.

How to Get Tokens for More Brawlers in Brawl Stars

Tokens are the in-game currency earned by participating in any game mode. They are also awarded whenever a new event opens.

Players can put tokens toward Brawl Boxes to get more brawlers. Unfortunately, there’s a bit of a gambling element to Brawl Boxes, as the contents are randomized. You’re not guaranteed which Brawlers you’ll get.

  • 10 Tokens can be acquired by tapping on a new event slot
  • Depending on your performance, Tokens are awarded upon the completion of an event.
  • Gaining a new rank earns you 10 Tokens.
  • Gaining a new experience level gains you 20 Tokens.

Essentially, Brawl Boxes are the game’s equivalent of loot boxes. And yes, if you’d prefer to just skip the grinding and accelerate the process you can real-life money to purchase them, too.

A regular Brawl Box costs 10 gems or 100 normal Tokens.
