‘Do you wanna build a snowman?’ became one of the most asked questions a few years back thanks to Disney’s Frozen, and you’ll still hear people singing it every so often to this day, too. Well, the people over at DICE decided to let players build a snowman in Battlefield V. No, no, you can’t just go and build one wherever you please. Here’s how to build a snowman in Battlefield V.

There are a few steps and requirements you need to meet in order to build a snowman in Battlefield V. The most important of these is that you’re playing multiplayer on either the Narvik map, or the Fjell map. Kinda makes sense with these being so snowy, right?

We’ve broken down how to build a snowman on each of these Battlefield V maps in their own separate sections below to make the whole process easier for you.

How to Build a Snowman on Narvik

Battlefield V, how to build a snowman

If you want to build a snowman on Narvik, you’ll want to start at A and make your way north towards the yellow house past the artillery gun on the hill. Just to the left of this, right next to the white picket fence, you’ll find a faint outline of a snowman.

Simply walk on over to this and press T on PC or up on the d-pad to switch to your building tools to then be able to build a snowman. Doing this before heading to the location will make it easier, as bringing out your toolkit will bring up the faint snowman outline we mentioned.

We’ve included a screenshot above to help you figure out exactly where you need to go.

How to Build a Snowman on Fjell

For those of you who want to know how to build a snowman in Battlefield V on the Fjell map, well, you’re going to need to head towards objective E. This one can be found pretty close to the cliff.

If you’re able to, simply spawn in at objective E (Command Center). If you can’t, spawn in as close as possible and make your way towards the objective itself. Instead of stopping to capture or inspect it, continue towards the cliffs beyond it.

Press T or up on the d-pad at this point to get out your toolkit, and you should now see the outline of a snowman appear right by the cliffs. Check the screenshot above to find the Fjell snowman location in Battlefield V.

It’s worth noting that if you head to these spots and there’s an icy man staring at you already built, you won’t be able to build another one right next to it or anything. Only one can be built within that faint white outline we mentioned, so if there’s one already there, simply shoot it or destroy it any other way and then build your own.

Further, some players over on Reddit have started complaining that following the latest title update for Battlefield V, the fortifications system is a bit bugged. As such, some players have been unable to build a snowman in Battlefield V, and won’t be able to until this bug has been fixed.
