(Weeks 1 & 2: Jan. 1-14)

With the new year beginning, it’s time to look forward to what’s ahead of us. Between now and the end of April, the video game release schedule is already looking pretty hectic, and it all starts in January.

While the first month of 2019 is looking pretty busy, the more high profile titles are coming in the second half of it.

There are a few indie games to look out for, including 13 AM Games’, the developers of Runbow, Double Cross, but the standout is probably New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.

The 2D Mario adventure initially released on Wii U, but since no-one bought a Wii U, no-one played the game. Now that it’s coming to Switch, more Nintendo fans are going to be able to experience it.
