Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Is There Co-op Multiplayer? What You Need to Know

Is There Co-op Multiplayer in Spyro Reignited Trilogy?

Recommended Videos

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a gorgeous remake of the classic PS1 trilogy, and it’s a great way to get both longtime fans and newcomers back into the series. Reignited doesn’t change all that much, but it does feature a complete graphical overhaul, new assets and models, as well as redone voice acting to refresh it for a modern audience. That said, if you’re wondering if this remake features co-op multiplayer, we have some bad news. Here’s what you need to know about co-op multiplayer in Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

To put things simply, no. Spyro Reignited Trilogy does not feature any co-op multiplayer of any sort. This game is fully single-player, where you’ll take control of Spyro the cute purple dragon to explore different worlds and collect different items. There’s no local couch-cop feature, or any sort of online play that you can get into.

Along your journey, you will encounter other dragons that you can rescue and talk to. However, if you were hoping for some multiplayer functionality where another player could take control of one of these dragons, you’re out of luck here.

That said, as a single-player game, there’s a ton of content to get into in Spyro Reignited Trilogy. As the name suggests, there are three games packed into one. Each game also features redone controls (though you could go back to Retro controls if you’d prefer) that should make it much easier to jump into for newcomers.

With three games’ worth of content, Spyro Reignited Trilogy has a lot to offer to potential buyers, and it works just fine as a single-player game.

And that’s all you need to know about co-op multiplayer functionality in Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
