Spyro Reignited Trilogy

xbox one, november 2018

We’re in a period of nostalgia-driven remakes right now, and absolutely nobody is complaining. Following the remakes of Crash Bandicoot’s three original adventures initially last year on PS4, developer Toys for Bob is now putting the finishing touches to a remake of Spyro’s three first adventures for Xbox One and PS4.

Players will get Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Revenge, and Year of the Dragon, all lovingly remade with enhanced visuals and controls to feel right at home on the Xbox One. And personally, we’re just excited to play around with Year of the Dragon’s skateboarding minigame for hours on end at a time.

Whether you initially played all of these back on the original PlayStation all of those years ago, are looking for a kid-friendly game to keep youngsters occupied for hours, or just want to see what all the fuss over this purple dragon is all about, this should be at the top of your wishlist in November.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on Nov. 13.
