Battlefield V: How to Get Emblems & What They Do

Emblems in Battlefield V

Emblems return in Battlefield V; however, we’re still waiting to see if they return in exactly the same capacity as they existed in Battlefield 1.

Emblems, in both games, are a way to show off your personality a bit. These are logos that are slapped onto vehicles and are just a bit of added cosmetic flair.

Sure, sometimes people make silly stuff that kind of rip the immersion away, but sometimes, there are some pretty sweet user created ones that fit really well in the game’s universe.

At their best, they will remind players of the coolest regiment patches that are seen in real-life militaries.

Anywho, in Battlefield V, details on the system are still a bit murky. We’re expecting more news about a companion app, and custom emblems to be revealed sometime around the release of Battlefield V on Nov 20.

If it works as it did previously, you’ll be able to login into the companion app either through your phone, or PC, and you can use the creator to make your own emblem and then upload it for use in Battlefield V. You cannot make your own in-game.

You don’t have to create your own emblem though for Battlefield V. There are some in-game ones that you can use instead if you like creative juices (like me) or just don’t feel like making one.

Go to Profile in the main menu, and then tab on over to Awards. From there go to Emblems to see all that you have currently available to you. Some of them are exclusive for certain conditions.

For example, having participated in the alpha program, I have one for that. If you opt-in for emails from EA, you’ll get one for that. As you play and participate in Battlefield V, more may be revealed to you.

That does it for how to get emblems and what they do in Battlefield V. As more information comes out about them, we’ll update this post.

In the meantime, for more content and information, check out the latest multiplayer trailer, the most recent news on the status of its battle royale mode, and DICE’s approach to war stories this time around.
