Super Mario Party

Super Mario Party, 1 million, Sales, US, Nintendo, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Switch

For many longtime Mario Party fans, the newest edition to the long-running series, Super Mario Party, brought some welcome changes to the formula, as well as bringing back fan favorite gameplay mechanics that had been altered in the more recent entries of Mario Party such as Mario Party 9 and 10.

While fans were appreciative of the return to glory for the series, the lack of board variation and size has been a gripe against the game.

To make this the definitive Mario Party experience, remastering classic Mario Party boards or even adding entirely new ones would go a long way to making Super Mario Party the best it can be.

Super Mario Party is a step in the right direction, but DLC for the title could amount to a huge leap for the franchise as a whole. It would be welcome by many fans who just might be willing to pay for the magic that additional boards would bring to the game.
