Easiest PS4 Trophies & Platinums of October 2018
NBA 2K Playgrounds 2
NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 was delayed just days before its scheduled release earlier in the year, with 2K taking adding their name and basketball game expertise into the mix. Now with even more beautiful courts set in locations from around the world, you can jump into over-the-top arcade basketball action as your favorite players alone or online.
Some issues in terms of progression and microtransactions have made their way over from 2K’s core games, but Playgrounds 2 is generally an improvement over the first.
It also offers the possibility for some easy trophies. Disappointingly, there’s no platinum to unlock, but just a few games will see you earn a decent portion of what’s available. Playing through the 15 game season mode once will get you some, opening one pack will get you another, and others are tied to customizing and upgrading your roster. You’ll have to play a lot for 100%, but you’ll get a good chunk of them done quickly.

LEGO DC Super Villains
For once, a LEGO game has released that’s not about you saving the world in some way or another. This time, you play as the DC Comics universe’s iconic villains. The Joker and all his friends, even the obscure ones, are there for you to play as, causing havoc and smashing everything in your way.
Everything else is as you’d expect, with you making your way through the levels interacting with blocks and solving environmental puzzles. The story is fun, with Mark Hamill returning to play The Joker, standing out just as he did in the Batman: Arkham games.
Also, since the LEGO games are created with a younger audience in mind, they’re rarely difficult, and that extends to the trophy list. Of course, you’ll have to spend quite a lot of time with the game to get the Platinum but just playing through once will get you nearly half of the others, and a good deal more are easy to mop up after the credits roll.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers
Every PlayStation 4 owner has been clamoring for their own Mario Kart. A lighthearted racing game that’s based on characters they love and is great fun with friends. Unfortunately, while Nickelodeon Kart Racers lets you hit the track as Spongebob, the Ninja Turtles, and every other beloved Nickelodeon character, it’s doesn’t come close to Mario Kart’s level.
Even though you’re unlikely to stick with it for very long, it’s very easy and has a simple trophy list. Divided into 28 trophies, many of them are unlocked by doing things you naturally do while you play. Finish races, take out opponents, win a race – it’s all pretty simple stuff.
There are some other trophies that will require a fair amount of time, but due to how easy the game is, you won’t be challenged too much. Even if you’re not enjoying it, just a few hours with the game will see you walk away having unlocked most of the trophies on offer.
