Today’s Switch port of the original 2013 game includes all of the game’s DLC and is priced at $14.99.

As with many 2D side-scrollers, fans have been clamoring for a Switch port of these games. The Nintendo eShop describes the game as “a Metroidvania-style action-platformer set in a magical world inspired by traditional Mexican culture and folklore.” The game also features up to 4-player co-op and players can drop in and out of the game freely.

With the game already released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and Wii U, a Switch port felt like an inevitability. However, Guacamelee! 2, which released Aug. 21 of this year, is more of a surprise. Guacamelee! 2 is currently only available on PS4 and PC, with no word yet on a Xbox One release.
