Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise: How to Learn More Secret Techniques

How to Learn More Secret Techniques in Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise

Here’s how to learn more secret techniques in Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise.

Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise is a fascinating combination of the Yakuza video game series and the classic manga/anime. It tells an original story in the Fist of the North Star universe, looping in many of the gameplay elements and odd quirks of Yakuza.

The brutal Heat Actions of Yakuza make a return, this time as the secret techniques of Hokuto Shinken. These are even bloodier and more violent than in Yakuza games, fitting of the source material.

Secret techniques are your bread and butter Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise. They let you kill enemies instantly after hitting their pressure point, in some cases more than one enemy.

Luckily learning more is fairly easy, you’ll just need to level up. Secret techniques can be found in the skill grid under your abilities menu, it’s the green one.

On the right side of the skill grid you’ll see a bunch of different secret techniques you can learn, but you’ll need Skill Orbs to do so. These can be gained through leveling up, completing parts of the story, or playing minigames like the Colosseum and exchanging BP (battle points).

It’s pretty slow going to get Skill Orbs, unfortunately. However, there are enough for every ability as long as you’re diligent about leveling up.

Generally, it’s a good idea to invest in secret techniques first as it gives you more opportunities and variation for what you can use during battle. You can also learn a couple specific secret techniques through training with Toki.

That’s how you learn more secret techniques in Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise. For more on the game make sure to search Twinfinite. For even more on Yakuza, make sure to check out Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s next game, Project Judge.
