Make Use of the Specialist Gadgets

cod black ops 4, blackout tips

Blackout tries to shake up the battle royale formula by introducing Specialist gadgets that you can use in the traditional multiplayer modes. Surprisingly enough, these are actually really useful, and you should definitely grab them whenever you spot one.

The recon car is one of the most handy gadgets you can get, as it allows you to scope out your surroundings and see if there are any players nearby. Just make sure you’re in a safe spot before deploying. If you find yourself in a situation where two other players are in the midst of hunting each other down, you can also use the recon car to reveal one player’s location to the other, forcing them into an open confrontation.

The sensor drone is another useful late-game gadget. When deployed, it’ll mark a player’s location on your mini-map whenever they step into the drone’s area of surveillance. You can use this anytime you want, but we found that it was most useful near the end of a match, when the safe zone is much smaller.
