How to Complete A Taste of Home (Quest Guide) in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna is the biggest piece of add-on content the JRPG has received yet. Torna takes place 500 years before the start of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and tells the story of the legendary hero Addam and his band of allies that fought against the rampaging Aegis, Malos. Like in the base game, sidequests play a huge part in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna, becoming your main way of getting gold, experience, and special items. A quest that you come across relatively early in the game is A Taste of Home, and you’ll need to gather some specific ingredients to make a dish for a homesick soldier at Lascham Cove in Gormott.

The food in question is Chilsainian Kascha, and you’ll need to have Jin craft it while at a campfire. The ingredients are easy enough, Weeping Flour and Volff Beastmeat can be found easily in Gormott simply by interacting with flower spots and killing Volffs. Sumpkins can be found at any of the vegetable spots around Gormott, but Burred Clams are a little harder to come by. You’re going to need to explore Gormott and find some of the lakes around the area, then interact with the spots on the shore. Make sure you gather double what you need of each item, as you’ll need it later.

Gathering enough materials from spots should eventually yield enough items, then you’ll need to head to the campfire and make the Chilsainian Kashca. Taking it to the soldier will then require you to make it again, this time with Mythra. You’ll need the same amount of ingredients, so head to the camp and this time make it with Mythra. Then just take the Chilsainian Kascha and boom, A Taste of Home is in the bag.

That’s all about you need to know to complete the A Taste of Home in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the expansion, make sure to search Twinfinite.
