How to Solve the Statue Puzzle in Spider-Man PS4

Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man is finally here, bringing us an entirely new universe and version of the web-slinger. This is a more experienced Spidey, one who’s fallen into the groove of their role as a superhero. Of course, you won’t just be playing as the titular hero, as there are also segments that have you playing as regular Peter Parker, and even a few sections that let you play as Mary Jane.

The sections that have you playing as MJ are decidedly slower than the rest of the game, focusing on her journalistic investigations and solving puzzles. A few of these puzzles can be tricky and the statue puzzle, in particular, might leave you stumped for a few minutes.

Luckily we’re here to help with that so you can carry on adventuring through the streets of Manhattan in Spider-Man PS4.

MJ is able to look at the statue, and when you get a closer look you can focus your vision on certain parts to move them. First, look at the left forearm and move it once, then look at the left hand and move it once.

Now look at the right upper arm and move it once. After that, focus on the mouth of the statue puzzle and select move to close it, then select the entire head and move it once. The statue puzzle is all in position, and now you just need an item to finish things off.

Walk to the right of the statue and look at the display case with various scepters and items in it. Select the one on the very right, with two sharp tips, and have MJ pick it up. Head back to the statue and put it into the right hand and, voila, you’ve solved the statue puzzle. You can now carry on with MJ’s investigating in Spider-Man PS4.

Here’s a video of this whole solution, in case you need it.

That’s all you need to know about solving that tricky statue puzzle in Spider-Man PS4. For even more tips, tricks, and guides on the game, make sure to check out our extensive wiki.
