After the larger games, at least one indie makes the monthly list as well, and we say it’s about time RiME from Tequila Works makes it to Games with Gold.
RiME has already been offered for free on PS Plus in February 2018, and if that’s not incentive enough for Microsoft, it has also released onto the Nintendo Switch in November 2017 as well. When an indie is released onto the Switch, usually there is less of a demand for it on consoles, or even on PC. Therefore, since less players would be purchasing it on Xbox One, and PS Plus subscribers already happily received it over six months ago, there’s little risk for Microsoft to release it for free for a limited time as well.
