How to Fake Pass in NBA 2K19
There will be times where you actually wanna make a quick pass to another player on your team in NBA 2K19. It could set you up with a prime opportunity to quickly break and sink a basket. However, sometimes, you might find yourself with the ball in two hands, stuck with very few options at your disposal. This is where the fake pass is incredibly handy, and can help give you those all-important few inches of space to create a chance.
To fake pass in NBA 2K19, you’ll simply need to press the jump and shot button at the same time. On PS4, that’s triangle and circle, and for your Xbox One players it’s Y and B. And for those of you playing on Nintendo Switch, you’re going to need to press X and A. Regardless of what platform you’re playing on, you’ll also want to use the left analog stick and point it in the direction that you want your player to make the fake pass. After all, it helps to sell to your opponent the idea that you’re actually about to make a pass.
You’re free to use the fake pass as many times as you like in NBA 2K19. Heck, you can even have the same player just do it over, and over, and over again. Though, we wouldn’t recommend this, as it’s actually quite easy for your opponent to steal the ball of you while doing so. Instead, try and sell them with a quick fake pass, before sending the ball to a player in the opposite direction.
