Is FIFA 19 Out Now? What You Need to Know

Recommended Videos

With updated rosters, the fully licensed Champions League, and a swathe of other tweaks and refinements to both off and on-the-pitch features, FIFA 19 has finally arrived on Xbox One, PS4, and PC to offer the definitive soccer experience. Chances are, if you’re a long-term fan, or are just interested in picking up FIFA 19 as your first foray into the series, you may be a little confused regarding whether or not FIFA 19 is out now, what with people streaming the game on Twitch.

Is FIFA 19 Out Now?

Well, technically, FIFA 19 is available to play, it just hasn’t officially released yet. If you’re a PC or Xbox One player, you can play the game right now for 10 hours if you sign up to or are already a subscriber to EA or Origin Access. This is 10 gameplay hours early access, so you’ll want to spend your time in the game via Origin or EA Access wisely. Once you’ve spent 10 hours in the game, you’ll then have to wait until one of two dates.

The first is if you’ve preordered the Ultimate or Champions editions of FIFA 19 on any platform. Both of these editions grant, among a host of other incentives, three days early access to the game, starting Sept. 25.

If you’ve opted to just preorder or pick up the standard copy of the game, you’ll have to wait until Sept. 28 to dive into Ultimate Team, the final chapter of The Journey, or take on other teams in Pro Clubs. This is the official release date for the game, so you’ll be able to pick it up from your preferred retailer that has it in stock.

That’s pretty much all you need to know regarding whether or not FIFA 19 is out now. For more tips, tricks, and guides for Ultimate Team and everything else in FIFA 19, be sure to check out our extensive FIFA 19 wiki.
