Destiny 2 Forsaken: How to Redeem Pre-Order DLC

How to Redeem Pre-Order DLC in Destiny 2: Forsaken

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2: Forsaken launched earlier today for consoles and PC. So far, many have completed most, if not all, of the story attached to the DLC. Just as many seem to have the same question though: How do I redeem my pre-order content? Unlike most pre-ordered content in the game, this DLC does not provide the necessary content immediately, requiring a few prerequisites to be met first. So in order to unlock Cayde’s Exotic Stash and content specific to the Deluxe Edition, you are going to need to follow a few steps first.

In order to find Cayde’s Exotic Stash, you’ll need to complete the Forsaken campaign. Once you do, head over to Amanda Holliday in the Tower. The stash can be picked up from her. Below are the items included:

  • Last Hand – An ornament for the Ace of Spades.
  • Queen of Hearts – A new, unique Exotic Ship.
  • Standoff – A special Emote.
  • Shades of Cayde – Shaders similar to Cayde.

Some players may see Shades of Cayde-6 instead of Shades of Cayde. Don’t worry, as they are the same item and will be changed to reflect that in a future patch.

If you purchased the Deluxe Edition you will once again need to beat the Forsaken campaign for the rewards to unlock. Upon completion, head back to orbit to collect your goods. That content includes:

  • Wrath Majestic – An Arsenic Bite-4b Bow ornament.
  • Dirge Paladin – A unique Emblem.
  • Vestian – An exclusive Ghost Shell.

If you are seeing The Forsaken instead of Dirge Paladin, don’t worry, it is the same item and will be changed to reflect that in a future patch.

That is how to redeem your pre-ordered Destiny 2 Forsaken content. For more info on Destiny 2: Forsaken, as well as tips and tricks, be sure to head over to our detailed wiki.
